Court records said Williams told police that after getting off the interstate, the driver of the truck threw an object later identified to be a tape measure at Williams’ car window. After this, Williams followed the truck to the intersection of Callahan Drive and Old Callahan Drive, got out of his car, pulled out a gun and fired one round at the truck. The truck then sped away down Old Callahan Drive.

Williams was taken into custody and charged with felony reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon.
