Ice Bears look to Pensacola for first homestead of the year

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Coming off of three straight wins, including over the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs and Birmingham, the Ice Bears are now looking to its first homestead of the year.

The Ice Bears will face Pensacola Friday at 7:30 p.m. That matchup will also mark Military Appreciation Night, so the team will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off at the end of the night. The Salvation Army will also be around for the Red Kettle Kickoff during pregame, and the Knoxville Sled Bears will be putting on a sled hockey showcase during the first intermission.

Saturday, the Ice Bears will once again face Pensacola with some furry friends. The game will feature corgi races, with 40 racers sprinting across the ice to be the fastest in East Tennessee.
