One Knox falls in first home match since winning USL League One title

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - One Knox raised its 2025 USL League One championship flag inside Covenant Health Park and scored an early goal on Forward Madison SC.

That’s where the good times ended for One Knox on Saturday, falling 2-1 to Forward Madison in the club’s first home match of the season.

John Murphy scored in the sixteenth minute for Knoxville. Turner Humphrey netted an equalizer in the 24th minute before Stephen Annor Gyamfi netted the eventual game-winner in the 39th minute.

Only one of One Knox’s 11 shots were on target in the loss.

One Knox is now 1-1-0 on the year and will host Corpus Christi FC on March 24 at 7:00 p.m.
