ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Anderson County Animal Shelter is putting the word out after receiving almost 50 dogs from an animal hoarding case.
The shelter put out the call Thursday, saying the dogs need help because of how small an operation the animal shelter is.
“Please recognize that we only have 12 dog kennels TOTAL for Anderson County animals in need. This large scale emergency rescue operation has pushed us well beyond our capacity and we are in desperate need of help to save these babies lives,” a notice from the shelter said.
