Judge passes down 92-year prison sentence for man found guilty of repeated incest, child rape
HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - A judge has sentenced a Tennessee man to 92 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of repeated child rape and incest.
Back in April, 45-year-old Miguel De Jesus-Flores was found guilty of two counts of rape of a child, three counts of rape, continuous sexual abuse of a child, and incest.

Prosecutors said De Jesus-Flores raped one of his family members from the time she was 10 years old to 16.
The sexual abuse came to light when the victim became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl, who was admitted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital with health problems.
He was sentenced Monday in Haywood County Circuit Court.
“We appreciate Judge [Clayburn] Peeples recognizing how egregious this act was by sentencing the defendant to the maximum sentence of 92 years to serve at 100%,” said District Attorney Frederick Agee. “Our office has again successfully removed a violent offender from our community, and we will continue to focus on offenders that pose a threat; especially to our most vulnerable citizens such as the Victim in this case. Please pray for the victim so she may one day find peace and comfort after being subjected to unimaginable sexual abuse.”
