Niamoni Watson is a reporter for Atlanta News First, proudly serving the communities she grew up in. You can watch her Wednesday through Sunday evenings.
Before joining Atlanta News First in 2025, Niamoni worked as an anchor and reporter in San Diego, California. There, she covered major issues including homelessness, housing affordability, and immigration. She also specialized in stories impacting minority communities.
Niamoni began her career as a multimedia journalist in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she was later promoted to morning weekend anchor and producer. She covered a wide range of topics from breaking news to politics — including one-on-one interviews with presidential candidates.
