The school was evacuated around noon on Thursday, officials said.
The ride itself faced delays after it was originally announced.
Pike is scheduled to be the first woman executed in Tennessee since 1819.
The meeting will begin with an in-person informational open house from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a formal meeting.
