Ahead of move to larger space, Sevier Animal Care Center says overcrowding could lead to euthanasia

The center said in a Facebook post that it had just been tasked with taking in 19 adult dogs after a hoarding bust and had more on the way, on top of an already cramped shelter.
“We now have five more dogs being housed outside,” the post said. “It’s just too cold for this! On top of that, we have a hoarding case coming in today of 18 more animals.”
The center is asking for foster families and adopters to come forward, especially as workers look towards a new space. The center will be setting up operations there — with four times the room — in about a month.
