Finnegan was supposed to head to trial Monday morning before his plea. That trial would have followed his August 2024 trial, where he was convicted of 11 counts in the murder of Jennifer Paxton. Finnegan stored Paxton’s body in a freezer in his apartment, and since then he’s been housed at Tennessee’s Riverbend Maximum Security Prison.
In each case, Finnegan had a co-defendant: Rebecca Dishman. She earlier entered a plea deal in the case of Paxton’s murder and the case of raping the children.
