KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A middle school in Knox County was evacuated Thursday afternoon after a threat was made, according to Knox County Schools spokesperson Carly Harrington.

According to Harrington, Hardin Valley Middle School was evacuated around noon on Thursday due to a verbal threat being made.

Following an investigation, Harrington said no threat was found, and students were in the process of being cleared to go back inside the school at around 2 p.m.
