2 juveniles detained after 11-year-old shot by BB gun near Moss Drive, police say

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - After reports of a large police presence near Moss Drive, authorities confirmed this was due to a BB gun shooting.

According to one KPD spokesman, two juveniles have been detailed after an 11-year-old was shot in the finger by a BB gun.

The 11-year-old, who is unidentified at this time, was taken to the hospital to evaluate his injuries. KPD said he is expected to be OK.

Officials say that charges are pending against the other two juveniles after they were detained on the scene.
