Making a difference: Knoxville non-profit looking to raise funds for rehab center

4Truth Ministries is trying to start a rehabilitation and training center in Knoxville to help fight the opioid epidemic.
"My wife and I, we are raising our four grandchildren for the last two years because of this epidemic," said Pastor Ken Stinnett who is the pastor at Spirit of Truth Community Church with 4Truth Ministries. "Once it comes to your doorstep, then you want to do something."
Pastor Ken Stinnett with 4Truth Ministries knows first-hand what happens when opioids take hold of a loved one. He's doing his part to help people get clean and have hope for the future.
"There are so many people who are needing this and wanting this, but they can't get the help they need because of the insurance barrier and that's who we are catering too," said Stinnett.
Pastor Ken hopes to build a new rehab and training center to help people find a better life. He said a major key to helping people rebuild their lives is love.
"That's exactly how we're going to run this," said Stinnett. "It will be faith based all in love. If you don't feel comfortable, then something is wrong and I'll fix it."
4Truth Ministries is asking for your help. They're taking donations to turn their idea into a reality.
"I would like to open it tomorrow if I could, as soon as we can get the funds," said Stinnett.
