Man dead after shooting in Hawkins County, sheriff’s office says
The sheriff said there is no threat to the public at this time, adding that no public alarm is necessary.

HAWKINS COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Friday afternoon.
According to Sheriff Ronnie Lawson, deputies responded to the shooting in the Christians Bend community at around 4:15 p.m.
When deputies arrived on the scene, Lawson said they found a man who was dead.
“All individuals involved in the incident have been identified and accounted for,” Lawson said. “This remains an active investigation, and interviews are ongoing.”
Lawson said there is no threat to the public at this time, adding that no public alarm is necessary.
Additional information, including the name of the man found dead, was not released.
