Church Hill man charged in deadly Hawkins County shooting, sheriff says
Robert Farley, a 60-year-old man who lives in Church Hill, was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting that left 55-year-old Steven Ball dead on Christians Bend Road.
CHURCH HILL, Tenn. (WVLT) - A man has been charged and indicted in a Hawkins County shooting that happened on Nov. 7, according to Sheriff Ronnie Lawson.
Robert Farley, a 60-year-old man who lives in Church Hill, was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting that left 55-year-old Steven Ball dead on Christians Bend Road.

Lawson said the sheriff’s office’s detective division investigated the case, which was presented to a grand jury Tuesday.
That grand jury also returned indictments for unlawful possession of a firearm, destruction or tampering with evidence and restrictions on firearm ammunition, the sheriff’s office said.
