Another frigid night ahead

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Frigid again tonight with lows in the upper teens to low 20s. A few high clouds will roll in at times. Winds will be west at 5-10 mph.

NEW YEAR’S EVE: Highs will be in the low to mid 40s with more sunshine. It will be breezy with a west wind at 5-15 mph. Temperatures will likely drop into the low to mid 30s to ring in 2026 at midnight, so bundle up if you plan to be out.

NEW YEAR’S DAY: Highs will remain in the mid to upper 40s with clouds along and north of I-40.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY: Highs will return to the 50s with a few showers Friday into Friday night. Saturday and Sunday look partly to mostly cloudy and seasonally mild.
