FIRST ALERT: Above average temperatures kick in mid to late week
Chief Meteorologist Spencer Denton says rain chances are small, but not zero this week
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Mostly cloudy tonight with a few showers early. Lows will be in the upper 40s to near 50. Winds will be variable at 5-10 mph.
TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE EARLY TUESDAY MORNING: Clouds may block viewing for some areas, especially on the Cumberland Plateau where showers are likely. If live east of Knoxville and I-75, you have the best chance for brief clearing to see it.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers in the morning with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will turn southwest at 5-15 mph.
WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with a stray shower possible each day. Highs will rise into the low to mid 70s Wednesday and hit the upper 70s Thursday into Friday. Lows will be in the 50s.
WEEKEND: Partly cloudy Saturday with a passing shower or storm in the afternoon. There is a little higher chance of shower or storm Sunday. Highs will remain in the 70s.
