GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee Highway Patrol says charges are pending following a crash near Gatlinburg that injured three people.

It happened on Aug. 13 around 3:14 p.m. on East Parkway near Roosevelt Drive.

According to THP, a 30-year-old driving a golf cart tried to turn right onto East Parkway when he lost control and the golf cart flipped over. A second vehicle then crashed into the golf cart.

The 30-year-old and two of his passengers were injured. A third passenger, and two people who were in the other car, were not injured.

THP says charges are pending against the 30-year-old.
