KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Allegiant Airlines announced Tuesday morning plans to bring a new nonstop destination to McGhee Tyson Airport.

Airline officials said a new route between Knoxville and Philadelphia is set to begin on May 21, 2026. It’s one of 30 new nonstop routes Allegiant is launching in the first half of 2026.

This comes after Allegiant launched flights out of McGhee Tyson to Memphis, Key West, Sarasota, Gulf Shores and Washington this year.

These additions provide convenient options for leisure travelers and reflect our commitment to expanding service where demand is strong. As we grow, we remain focused on delivering the most value to our customers.”

One-way fares from Knoxville to Philadelphia start at $49, but to lock in the discounted rate, flights must be purchased by Nov. 19 for travel by Aug. 18, 2026.
